Except for an icy kiss from the Polar Vortex and a couple of heavy snowfalls, central Virginia has enjoyed a mild winter. Rhododendrons in our neighborhood are already budding, and the lengthening days brighten both landscape and spirits . . .
. . . which means that spring is coming, and that Ingeborg, Esmeralda, and friends will soon make more public appearances.
Several bookstores in the region have invited me to give readings beginning in March. I also have made tentative dates to visit elementary and middle schools to talk about my book and what it’s like to be a writer. I’ll post dates and times here as the schedule develops. Or, if you’d like to receive email notices, please click “contact” at the top of this page.
Watch for daffodils!
